How is it diagnosed?
Diagnosis is made with full-spine X-rays to measure curvature (Cobb angle) and monitor progression.
How is it treated?
Mild curves are monitored. In growing patients, braces may be used to prevent progression. Severe or progressive cases may require corrective surgery with instrumentation and spinal fusion.
